• Is the mattress included in the bed price? No, all beds are sold without a mattress. The set includes the bed frame, wooden slats (bed base), and necessary hardware for assembly.

1. What is the distance between the bed safety rail slats?

For our beds, the safe distance between the safety rail slats is 5.5 to 6.5 centimeters (55–65 mm). This distance allows the child to move independently and reduces the risk of getting stuck.

2. Is the bed entrance wide enough?

Yes. The bed entrance width is a generous 53 centimeters, ensuring comfortable and free entry and exit for the child.

3. What is the height of the bed safety rails?

The height of the safety rails depends on the chosen bed model and configuration:

• For standard beds: the basic safety rail height is 41 cm (can be increased to 51 cm).
• For beds with elevated safety rails: the basic height is 60 cm (can be increased by 10 cm or 20 cm upon request).

4. Is it possible to adjust the height of the safety rail?

Currently there are no beds with adjustable safety rail height, but for most models you can choose higher safety rails (+10 cm) as an option when ordering. If you have questions, please contact us.

5. Can I choose the entrance side?

Yes, absolutely. We can customize the entrance side according to your needs at no additional cost. Please specify your preference when placing the order.

6. What are the external dimensions of the bed frame?

The indicated bed dimensions (e.g., 160 × 80 cm or 200 × 90 cm) correspond to the mattress size. The overall external dimensions of the bed frame are approximately 7 cm larger in both length and width.

7. Is the mattress included?

No, the mattress is not included.

8. What mattress thickness do you recommend?

For safety and comfort, we recommend using a children's mattress with a thickness of 10 to 15 cm, to maintain an optimal and safe safety rail height.

9. Does the bed provide mattress ventilation?

Yes. Our Montessori floor beds have a built-in 5 cm ventilation gap under the mattress base. This ensures proper air circulation, prevents moisture accumulation, and creates a healthy sleeping environment.

10. What material are the beds made of?

The beds are made from high-quality, 100% FSC certified pine wood. This material ensures structural durability, prevents wood deformation, and is completely safe for the child's health.

11. What finish is used for the beds?

Caring for children's safety, we use only non-toxic and environmentally friendly materials. The beds are coated with child-safe Italian water-based paints (including the RAL catalog) or left completely untreated (natural wood).

12. What load can the bed withstand?

Our Montessori beds are durable and safe. The maximum permissible load is up to 150 kg (330 lbs), allowing parents to comfortably sit or lie next to the child.

13. Can I choose the bed in a desired color?

Yes. We offer various color options: natural wood, standard shades, or any shade from the RAL color catalog.

14. Are bed slats included?

Yes. All beds include durable pine wood mattress slats (18 mm thick, distance between slats 55–65 mm), providing proper support and ventilation.

15. How to properly care for and clean furniture?

For daily care, use gentle methods:

• Dusting: Dust with a dry, soft cloth (microfiber, flannel) or special dusters.
• Stain cleaning: Clean the surface with lukewarm water and mild natural soap. Wring the cloth thoroughly to avoid excess moisture, then wipe dry.
• Wet wipes: Child-safe wet wipes can also be used.
• Forbidden: Do not use aggressive chemical agents, solvents, chlorine, or abrasive sponges, which can damage the wood coating.

16. Where are you located?

Our company is located in Latvia, Valmiera municipality (European Union).

17. What should buyers outside the European Union (EU) know?

We deliver to EU countries and 8 other European countries (full list in the Shipping and Payment section).

• Customs duties and taxes: The buyer may be responsible for import duties and customs payments according to their country's legislation. These payments are collected by the courier service at the time of delivery.
• Currency exchange: Prices are indicated in euros (EUR). Your bank may apply a commission for currency conversion.
• Please note: The buyer is responsible for all import and customs expenses.

18. What is the return policy?

We accept returns of damaged or non-conforming goods within 30 days of delivery (including individual orders). We also accept returns of standard goods within 30 days if the item has not been used, not assembled, and is in its original packaging. Note: Return shipping costs are covered by the customer. Individual (custom-made) products are not accepted back under the right of withdrawal.

19. What if the bed is damaged during delivery?

Please check the shipment upon receipt. If the item or packaging is damaged, contact us as soon as possible, providing the order number, description, and photos. We will review the case and offer the most suitable solution (replacement of parts, partial or full refund).

20. Is there a warranty for the furniture?

Yes, we provide a 2-year warranty for the frame and wooden structure (manufacturing and material defects under normal use).

21. Do you deliver to Ireland, Cyprus, and Malta?

Yes, we deliver beds to Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, as well as other EU countries and the United Kingdom. Delivery to Ireland is free, while delivery to Cyprus and Malta costs €80.
